Red Moons Dream (Full Article)

I received this dream through a fellow pastor from a sister in the Lord in his congregation. Besides a universal application, I believe it relates directly to the enclosed prophecy titled "Rapid Decompression" that follows the interpretation.

Dream: “My husband, some family members and I were in a big house with a lot of big windows in it. It was nighttime. I was sitting in the living room and my family was in another room watching TV. I looked up toward the windows and realized that the sky was completely dark, there were no stars. And there were 2 very large moons, they were so big it seems like they were close to the earth.

One of the moons was slightly smaller than the other and both moons were red, dark red. I heard the news on the TV and the reporter was saying this is so beautiful, and it was an eclipse that is an eclipse that rarely happens.  I remember getting angry at what they were reporting and I said this is not an eclipse. Why is the news deceiving the people, telling lies? And I said to myself, I don’t know what this is, but I know it is not what they are saying it was on the news. It is something bigger. And that was the end of my dream. I woke up and felt I heard the Holy Spirit saying go to the Bible. See what it says about a red moon.”

The dream relates to the family of God. We find the church in the household of God and some are paying attention to a heavenly perspective, while others are focused on a worldly one. The sister seems to have a watchman’s calling and is able to see the spiritual conditions that are unfolding through signs in the heavens.

The heavens are completely dark. There is no light except from the very large red moons, which is a sign they will have dominion over the night.  The two sizes indicate that one omen will affect the Earth to a greater degree than the other in its impact. The fact that the moons are very close to the earth is a sign that the time they will affect the Earth is very close.

Although the appearance of the moons is an eclipse and is normally a natural phenomenon, there is a definite spiritual implication in their presence. Trying to explain it away as a natural phenomena and a thing of beauty by the world was a deliberate spiritual deception. (It was a deliberate focus away from the biblical importance, as we shall see.)

The meaning had a much more hidden and urgent interpretation in its magnitude of importance.

The degree of its importance was emphasized by the impression that the sister had to look up the “ red moon” in the Scripture. In looking up these passages we see that they relate to a biblical warning sign in the heavens preceding the Lords coming, and were relevant to very trying times upon the earth predicted by the Scriptures.

At the same time in context they also related to the tremendous outpouring of the Spirit of God upon the believers.   Many are looking at the blood moons that will be occurring in these next 2 years, which line up with the Hebrew calendar and their prophetic meaning. It would be well to pay attention to these as time unfolds and realize that dreams and prophecies may be confirmations of things to come, especially when they align themselves with the Scriptures and what the Holy Spirit is saying in this hour.

Joel 2:31  “The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood Before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes.

Rev. 6:12  I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;

Prophecy: Rapid Decompression

My children, you are living in times that are about to change rapidly for it is the hour that deep darkness will cover the whole earth. Know that all you have and see now will change. Yes, the journey is about to change and you will undergo *”rapid decompression”, as a deep-sea diver tries to ascend too quickly from the deep.

The best way to counteract this process is to stop and breathe heavenly air on the way up, for it will fill your quest for peace and quiet the anxieties of your soul. Make no mistake, unless you are ready to accept the changes here on earth by exchanging them for heavenly ones you will not do well.

Remember that no one wants change, loss of comfort, loss of certainty, nor desires to be subject to trauma mentally, emotionally and financially. I have brought many through many of these to condition them to be able to comfort others when these things take place.

Everyone has come under these piecemeal, so you can comfort one another. Make no mistake; I say to you, truly you’ll need one another to go through the dark times ahead. Do not think you are exempt or that you have seen it all- even the elect will be shaken.

Rest in Me and My love for this is the safety net for the unseen and the seen alike. Know that My love and care for you  will not fail you in times of uncertainty, especially in what is about to befall the world and its trauma and chaos. Love will bend over from heaven to comfort every need and every wound, body, soul and spirit; but you must be ready to do the same for one another, says the Lord.

*”rapid decompression”: In deep sea diving slow ascent and required stops along the way are vital in order to survive the change in pressure as one is ascending from the deep. Sudden death or long-term sickness can be a silent killer and take its toll.

The ascent from the deep in this prophecy is symbolic of the necessary adjustment we each need to be ready to make to deal with the reality that will rapidly change in our own little world in the journey ahead.

One of the most impactful sessions for me during the Salvation Army’s Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery presentations was helping and ministering to severe trauma victims. It was eye opening because it dealt with how to recognize and deal with the different phases of trauma. I could see how vulnerable we are in the church because they were so unfamiliar to me and could actually be life threatening.

However, the scenario we are being exposed to today could easily be translated into spiritual casualties. I believe that there can be hidden reefs ahead for the church and we will need specialists in the body of Christ to help rescue many. If you have had this on your heart from the Holy Spirit, I suggest you prayerfully seek out training for it because “Sandy” was just a forewarning to all of us.

The Lord encouraged me to read Luke 21: 25-36 relating to what He is saying to us here and I am sensing it is required reading for all because most of us will be living it:

Luke 21:25 “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,

Luke 21:26 men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Luke 21:27 “ Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with power and great glory.

Luke 21:28 “But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

Luke 21:29  Then He told them a parable: “Behold the fig tree and all the trees;

Luke 21:30 as soon as they put forth leaves, you see it and know for yourselves that summer is now near.

Luke 21:31 “So you also, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.

Luke 21:32 “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place.

Luke 21:33 “ Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

Luke 21:34  “ Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap;

Luke 21:35 for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.

Luke 21:36 “But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

In summary: It is well to note in v29 and 30 we see Israel (the fig tree) and all the trees (the other nations on the earth) coming into their identity by putting forth their leaves. The leaves are their rightful boundaries determined by God Himself:

Acts 17:26 and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determinedtheir appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation,

It is another sign of the nearness of His coming and the summer harvest ripening. However, we must be careful because back in the seventies the predictions came forth of the Lord's return before that generation passed away based on the formation of Israel from Mark 12: 28-31 of this same parable, but only spoke of the fig tree (Israel). They never considered the rest of the prediction of all the other nations (all the trees) coming forth on the earth.

It is wise to consider Luke 21: 36 in our personal lives because it strongly reminds us that prayer will be needed, as well as strength to escape the things about to take place; but most of all to be able to stand before the Son of Man when He comes. To me these are very daunting words, especially if one holds to the doctrine “once saved always saved”. It speaks clearly that we are to know the day of our visitation and not be foolish and unprepared.

We can be sincere, but sincerely wrong; we can be secure, but secure in our ignorance. There is a challenging scripture:

Amos 5:18 Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! For what good is the day of the LORD to you? It will be darkness, and not light.

The question remains: Will it be darkness or light for us?

The question may upset our egos now but later, when things begin to collapse around us, will you have the strength to hold fast without compromising and bartering for another god to sustain your natural life? It will surely sap the spiritual life we have to hold on with if we are not diligent. Will we shrink away at the nearness of His coming or run into His loving arms?

Rom. 15:4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

For a Safe Journey Ahead: Ezra 8:21  Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God to seek from Him a safe journey for us, our little ones, and all our possessions.

Ezra 8:22 For I was ashamed to request from the king troops and horsemen to protect us from the enemy on the way, because we had said to the king, “ The hand of our God is favorably disposed to all those who seek Him, but His power and His anger are against all those who forsake Him.”

Ezra 8:23 So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our entreaty.
