Lion of Judah (Full Article)
“My people, Israel will become an abomination to the Nations very soon and they shall run to the land which I have given them. They shall become as one pursued by a lion, but those that pursue them shall be met by the Lion of Judah in My fury. Those that seek to harm my people I will smart severely and they shall know the wrath of the one who has not forsaken the house of David. Remember that those who bless Israel shall be blessed and those who curse her shall be doubly cursed for they have touched the apple of My eye, says the Lord.”
Here are some relevant Scriptures you probably are familiar with, but will become more prevalent with the changing times we live in:
Zech. 2:8 For thus says the LORD of hosts, “After glory He has sent Me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.
Hos. 5:14 For I will be like a lion to Ephraim And like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear to pieces and go away, I will carry away, and there will be none to deliver.
Amos 9:11-15 is that which has been unfolding in the land of Israel since 1948 and will be fulfilled to its fullest extent, but will not occur without much tribulation in the Nations.
For many years I have seen the opening of the “Seven Seals” of judgment in Revelation 5 beginning to occur in our generation, if it hasn't already:
Rev. 5:5 and one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.”
One thing I had not noticed before this writing was the significance of the name of God “Lion of Judah” of all the others that could have been used that would seem to fit very well. It is my impression that much of the tribulation will be centered around His people Israel and together with the Church, as we become one new man according to the scriptures Eph. 2 11-16:
Eph. 2:11 Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “ Uncircumcision” by the so-called “ Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands —
Eph. 2:12 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
Eph. 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Eph. 2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall,
Eph. 2:15 by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace,
Eph. 2:16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.
