Heavenly Bouquet (Full Intro Article)

“Heavenly Breath” inspirational poems may well seduce you to enjoy your time with Him, while the fragrance of His presence lingers with you. Although there is no formula, the testimony of the author of these poems will be helpful to all of us in our quest of finding transformational ecstasy in a love exchange with the Lord Jesus:

Testimony:  Someone very dear to me once told me that our Lord Jesus desires us to have an intimate, passionate, love relationship with Him.  He pursues us and welcomes our pursuit of Him.  So I decided to take a chance that this really might be possible for me and began to faithfully meet with Him each morning, allowing myself to be vulnerable before Him.  I started, slowly at first, to tell Him that I loved Him and desired Him.  Worship and praise just naturally began to pour out of my heart, as if they had been there all along and were only waiting for the opportunity to burst forth.  I felt safe and secure with Him.

I read ‘Secrets of the Secret Place’, by Bob Sorge, and my heart began to yield to the Lord in new surrender.  His Love and His Presence were very real to me.  He brought me back to my First Love.  Our new relationship of deep affection and love had begun.

We were made not only to love God, but also to be in love with Him.  We can fall in love with God!  Two hearts, sharing their innermost thoughts and love, treasure their time together.  These poems come from those precious times set aside only for Him.

1. IN LOVE WITH THE KING

We dance together in the heavenlies
A Holy dance that sets me free
You lift me up to heights above
And bestow upon me Your Great Love

You gently bring me to my knees
That I may worship You and please
The One Who is my heart's desire
The One Who sets my soul on fire

This love we share will e'er endure
Will be with us forever more
A passion that will never die
A love that dances beyond all time

2.  A LOVE LIKE NO OTHER

Your Love is like a tidal wave
Crashing into my heart
There isn't room for anything else
Those things just fall apart

My heart belongs to You
The one thing I can give
My heart Your dwelling place
Wherein You've come to live

I am in You
And You in me
We are one
Never to be parted in this life or the next

Our hearts entwined
Your mercy, mine
I am forever blessed

3    ONLY FOR HIM

A silent kiss is what I bring
To You this morning, my Savior, my King
My heart intense for You alone
I humbly bow before Your Throne
A silent kiss upon Your feet
You're everything that my heart needs
As I look up Your eyes meet mine
My greatest joy is to abide
You are my life, you are my Lord
My silent kiss is Yours alone

The author of these poems did not have the creative ability to write until she yielded her heart in an intimate relationship with her God. I believe it was a special gift of the Holy Spirit that gave her the talent to receive and express a love relationship through these heavenly breathed poems that were birthed in heaven:

1Pet. 4:10  As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good  stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1Pet. 4:11  Whoever speaks, is to do so  as one who is speaking the  utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving   by the strength which God supplies; so that  in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ,  to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

According to the Parable of the Talents (Matt. 25:13-29) we are not to bury what we have been given or hide it because of our insecurities, but invest it in the Kingdom. Our obedience to His command of stewardship is only a reasonable response to His Lordship, His sacrifice and love for us. We do not know the day or the hour of His return from His journey when we will be called to give an account:

Matt. 25:13 Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.
Matt. 25:14  “ For it is just like a man about to go on a journey, who called his own slaves and entrusted his possessions to them.
Matt. 25:15 “To one he gave five   talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and he went on his journey.

The result of lack of stewardship will be an eternal loss besides the loss of joy in serving Him and our brothers and sisters here on earth.

Matt. 25:28 ‘Therefore take away the talent from him, and give it to the one who has the ten talents.’
Matt. 25:29  “ For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away."
